An evapotranspiration model driven by remote sensing data for assessing groundwater resource in karst watershed

چکیده
Aquifer recharge may depend mainly on the difference between precipitation and evapotranspiration. Hydrological models used to estimate groundwater reserves use evapotranspiration that are determined by climate demand. In particular, mechanisms of plant transpiration neglected, although constitutes 70% This is problematic when considering karst watershed, which poorly documented at interface soil atmosphere where vegetation properties control water flows. To fill this gap, we propose an model integrates processes evaporation. Application of Remote Sensing in Assessing Land Use Changes in Haraz Watershed
Aims: Land-use change due to human activities is one of the important issues in regional and development planning. The aim of this study was to detect land-use changes using Landsat TM, ETM+, IRS and ASTER satellite imagery. Methodology: In this quasi-experimental study, land-use changes in the Haraz watershed over a 23-year period were evaluated. For this study, images of 1992 TM, ETM + 2002, ...

متن کاملEstimation of Actual Evapotranspiration using Remote Sensing data
Estimation of actual evapotranspiration (AET) and its spatial distribution are important to understanding of catchment hydrology. The AET is driven by net energy available to evaporate water from soil and vegetation surfaces, and to transpirate water from vegetation. However, estimating AET is difficult as the evapotranspiration process involves complex physical and biological processes. It is ...
متن کاملAn Evaluation of Remote-Sensing Technologies for Watershed Ass
A survey to locate all potential pollution sources in a watershed can be overwhelming in terms of the commitment of capital, equipment, and manpower. For this reason, alternative methods were sought that could lessen the time and cost of these initial watershed surveys. In this paper, airborne thermal infrared (TIR) imaging and geophysical techniques, such as electromagnetic conductivity and ve...
